NEWS / 8 May 2023

On Friday, 5th May two Trinity College Computer Science lecturers/researchers visited the TY's in the computer lab to bring to life gaming using the Scratch-to-Python web app called Pytch and Raspberry Pi's.

The TY's had already gained experience of using Pytch in January and February when they were transitioning from coding in Scratch to coding in Python. This workshop brought it to a different level again by using Raspberry Pi's to play the physical version of the online games.

The TY's were encouraged to experiment with the code and to push the games to their limits. They did! Sincere thanks to Glenn Strong and Ben North for visiting us in our Computer Studies class.
