SciFest@Stratford: TY Scratch programming projects examined by external judges
In a busy week for the TY students, two external judges examined their Scratch programming projects in the second strand of the SciFest@Stratford competition held on Tuesday, 8th March. Congratulations to Gabriel Messam for his individual project and to Cormac Kelly, Jake Henry and Geordan Sheridan O'Brien for their group projects - they were deemed joint winners. read more →
CoderDojo@Stratford on Sundays
Since Sunday, 19th April the Parents Association has organised a weekly CoderDojo@Stratford from 4pm - 5.30pm. Up to 20 pupils aged between 8-12 have been attending regularly, with students from Stratford College acting as mentors and lending their expertise, while the main programming expert is a parent from Stratford National School. read more →

SciFest@Stratford - first time in Ireland Scratch programming projects featured
On Tuesday, 29th April, Stratford College hosted its first-ever SciFest@Stratford. A SciFest is like a mini 'Young Scientist' competition but held in the school itself. Lots of students can enter a SciFest and the rest of the school gets to see their work too. External SciFest judges visit the school to choose the prizewinners. read more →
