Great Reads Award 2017: students asked to read and rate Junior and Senior books
The Great Reads Award 2017 is up and running, with the shortlisted books now available to borrow from the Library. Now in its second year, the Great Reads Award is organised by the School Library Association in Ireland (SLARI). Students read the books and rate them in two categories - Junior and Senior. Stratford participate in the Inaugural Great Reads Award - books selected by Irish School Librarians
On 17th February 2017, the winning books in the Junior and Senior Category were announced at the Inaugural Great Reads Award hosted by The King's Hospital Library. Four Junior books and four Senior books were selected from a long list collated by librarians who are members of the Irish School Library Association. Students get to rate each book that they read. The Junior and Senior books getting the most votes - win! The school with the most student votes also win a prize. read more →
