Managing Information: Growing up mobile

Conor Dougherty, published an article in The Irish Times on Monday, 11 January 2016, which gives an insight into how teenagers who have grown up with mobile technology to hand, manage apps by using constant alerts.

Conor Dougherty wrote a most insightful article in the Business and Innovation section of the Irish Times on Monday, 11 January 2016 called "Growing up mobile: app dings and pings become soundtrack of millennial youth". It explains how app development companies are responding to teenagers needs to have constant alerts and how teenagers manage the apps that they use on a daily basis. 

In a further article in the same paper, Karlin Lillington on Thursday, 14 January, gives a further slant to the implications of this behaviour in "Teenagers risk being defined for life by their social media posts".

TY students Joseph and Liam won the Regeneron Special Award at BTYSTE 2024 which means they will be representing Ireland at the forthcoming Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Los Angeles in May!

Regeneron invited Stratford TY's, 5th Year Computer Science students and Stratford's 7 BTYSTE 2024 students to their manufacturing site in Limerick on Tuesday 9th April.
