Read more →The Herzog Family visit Stratford Schools to celebrate the Centenary Anniversary of the birth of Chaim Herzog, sixth President of Israel, 17th October 2018
On Wednesday, 17th October 2018 the children of Chaim Herzog and their families, visited Belfast and Dublin to retrace the footsteps of their father.
Born in Belfast and raised in Dublin, their father Chaim Herzog served as Israel's sixth President between 1983 and 1993. In 1985 Chaim Herzog visited Stratford College. Photographs of that occasion were presented by the Student Council to the Herzog's at a special assembly held in both Stratford College and Stratford National School on the morning of the 17th October. Many visitors were invited, including the Principal and some TY Politics students from Wesley College.

Seachtain na Gaeilge, 11th -15th March 2024
Stratford has really been celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge this year! From going to see Irish films in the Stella Cinema in Rathmines, to visiting the Books of Kells, a big school quiz, a fantastic 2nd year assembly, dressing up in green and finally a massive ceili! TY Trip to Berlin, 11th - 13th March 2024
The TY's went on a History trip to Berlin and saw many historical sites with Ms Kenny, Ms Finnegan, Rabbi Wieder and Ms Gordon. From the Olympic Stadium to the Berlin Wall, to the Brandenburg Gate and Checkpoint Charlie, it was a fascinating trip. Many thanks to Ms Kenny and Ms Finnegan for organising!
