Great Reads Award 2017: students asked to read and rate Junior and Senior books

The Great Reads Award 2017 is up and running, with the shortlisted books now available to borrow from the Library. Now in its second year, the Great Reads Award is organised by the School Library Association in Ireland (SLARI). Students read the books and rate them in two categories - Junior and Senior. The author with the most ratings in each category win a prize. The school with the most rating entries also win a prize! read more →

On average across OECD countries, 15-year-old students are satisfied with the life they are living: they report a level of 7.3 on a scale of life satisfaction that ranges from 0 to 10.
