A morning of English Readings and Musical Interludes

NEWS / 10 May 2012

On Tuesday, 1st May, Ms. Reynolds organised a morning of English Readings by a selection of students from each year. There were also two musical interludes by students in 4th Year and 6th Year. Enjoy the highlights on the Stratford College podcast and YouTube channels.

This year I decided to celebrate the wonderfully imaginative and articulate work of our students by providing them with a forum to present them to the whole school. Each year group presented their best work. Unfortunately, their critical essays, which have been outstanding, have been excluded as their content wouldn't be suitable from an entertainment point of view. Watch the video highlights and listen to the podcasts to enjoy it all again.

Listen to the podcast of a 6th Year student playing Beethoven's 1st Movement of the Sonata in G Major, Opus 64.

The second podcast is of a 4th Year student singing Classical Vocals.
