Mr. Zinn-Collis is a Holocaust survivor and gave a very harrowing recollection of his childhood in a Nazi concentration camp. His talk was a stark reminder of the horrors of fascism and the Nazi regime. (Click on thumbnail to open an enlarged version of photo. ))

On Monday, 7th March the Israeli Ambassador to Ireland, Mr. Modai, attended morning assembly hosted by 2nd Year students. He gave an informing and interesting talk on his role as an ambassador and his previous jobs. I think we all felt we learnt a lot from it too. Towards the end a few 2nd Years played some beautiful tunes on tin whistles accompanied by Turlough Eccles (2nd Year) on harp. The Stratford Music group also sang beautifully to end it all.
